Giggle Alley wood in Eskdale green is a lovely little wood perfect for a morning out or a late afternoon stroll with the whole family. There is a hidden Japanese garden in the middle of the wood. Dubwath Silver Meadows is nice little nature reserve near Bassenthwaite in Cumbria. It is a great place to spend a couple of hours in family. The path is pushchair friendly and it is also dog-friendly.
