The last three months have been quite busy with holidays, weekends away and trip for work. The summer will be more relax as we are staying home. Here a summary of the main things we have done during these spring months.

Personal Life:
Vie Personnelle:
During these spring months, we enjoyed the nice weather, had great barbecues at friends, went to several kid birthday parties and of course enjoyed some great holidays and weekend away. I think for Marcus the highlight was the train ride on the La’al Ratty.
I am trying to finish the paint by number painting that I started a couple of months ago but it is an hard one so I am slow at making progress. We also bought a new computer as my laptop (nearly 11 years old) is going to die soon so I am in the process of transferring all my photos to the new desktop and at the same time organising them so I can print some to hang in the house. That is going to take time as you can guess I have thousands photos.

Walking:
Randonnées:
We have done some nice walks in Norfolk, in County Durham and also close to our home during the past three months. I still need to write some of the walks we did in Norfolk.
- Walk around Ludham and Ludham bridge, Norfolk
- Walk Horsey Windpump and Horsey Gap, Norfolk
- Walk High Force Waterfall and Hamsterley Forest, County Durham
- Walk Udale Plantation, Lake District, Cumbria

Travelling:
Voyages:
In April/ May we spent two weeks in Norfolk. We enjoyed our time there. The scenery is very different to Cumbria but there are so many things to do from visiting historic places to walking in natural parks. Then we went to Durham for the bank holiday end of May. Again another great city and countryside that we enjoyed visiting. And I spent 4 days in London mid-May for a training. These months were very busy so we relaxed in June.

Its been a very busy month, I bet you’re looking forward to some more relaxing time now! I’m glad you enjoyed joining us at Cannock Chase – I’ve enjoyed finding some new blogs to follow from your suggestions, especially the Jersey blog, as my eldest goes away with his scout group to Guernsey this summer so it’s nice to read up about what’s there 😊

I guess it will get easier as Marcus gets older, but you have to enjoy every stage because it passes so quickly. Glad you’ve been making the most of your year so far. Enjoy the rest of summer and many thanks for the link xx

You, have been busy! I have read and reviewed two of the books you read in English. I often review books on Sue’s Trifles, where I have an index to my book reviews (among other pages). I also post photos on Sue’s words and pictures.

You are welcome Anabel. It was my first book from him and I have to say I have enjoyed it. Very different to what I usually read, which is nice.

I have still never been to Durham, but would be interested in visiting one day (I have friends in Newcastle, so it’s a possibility!). It sounds like you’ve had a busy few months with lots of adventures further afield and closer to home 😊

Sounds like you had a busy spring. Hopefully you have a bit more down time in the summer to relax. My sister has done a couple of the paint by numbers paintings. I had no idea they took so long to complete!

Some of the paints by number are easy but other can be complex.
