This hike up to Ling Fell and Sale Fell was our last hike before the UK went into lockdown in March. This is a very easy hike to do, perfect for the whole family, and on a clear day it offers wonderful views of the Scottish coast and the peaks of the Lake District. The path to reach each of the two peaks is very visible and large.

Cette randonnée passant par Ling Fell et Sale Fell fut notre dernière randonnée avant que le Royaume-Uni rentre en confinement au mois de Mars. C’est une randonnée très facile à faire, parfaite pour toute la famille et qui offre par temps dégagé de magnifiques vues sur la côte écossaise et les sommets du Lake District. Le sentier est très visible pour atteindre chacun des deux sommets.

We started this hike by going to the top of Ling Fell and then set off towards Sale Fell. That day we had decided to only do Sale Fell but it is quite possible to lengthen the hike towards Lothwaite.

Nous avons commencé cette randonnée par le sommet de Ling Fell puis nous sommes partis en direction de Sale Fell. Ce jour-là nous avions décidé de seulement faire Sale Fell mais il est tout à fait possible de rallonger la randonnée en direction de Lothwaite.

This is definitely a great hike and perfect for a Sunday morning.

C’est vraiment une belle randonnée et parfaite pour un dimanche matin.
