Visit of Branklyn garden, Perth, Scotland

This year for the Easter weekend we went to visit the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland. On the way we stopped for a break in Branklyn Garden. This garden located in the city of Perth is part of the National Trust for Scotland.

Branklyn garden overlooking the city was created in the early 1920’s by John and Dorothy Renton. The garden of around two acres surrounds a magnificent mansion which is now partly the tea room. The garden contains a wide variety of trees, flowers and plants from all over the world but what makes it famous is its magnificent collection of rhododendrons. From April 1st to May 31stall rhododendrons are in bloom and the garden is filled with a multitude of colours.

It is a short post that I do today because I think the photos are better to reveal the beauty of this place than my words.
