This year for the Easter weekend we went to visit the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland. On the way we stopped for a break in Branklyn Garden. This garden located in the city of Perth is part of the National Trust for Scotland.

Cette année pour le weekend de Pâques nous sommes allés visiter le parc National de Cairngorms en Ecosse. En route, nous avons fait une pause au jardin de Branklyn. Ce jardin qui se situe dans la ville de Perth fait partie du National Trust for Scotland.

Branklyn garden overlooking the city was created in the early 1920’s by John and Dorothy Renton. The garden of around two acres surrounds a magnificent mansion which is now partly the tea room. The garden contains a wide variety of trees, flowers and plants from all over the world but what makes it famous is its magnificent collection of rhododendrons. From April 1^st to May 31^stall rhododendrons are in bloom and the garden is filled with a multitude of colours.

Branklyn garden qui surplombe la ville fut créé au début des années 20 par John et Dorothy Renton. Le jardin d’environ un hectare entoure une magnifique maison de maitre qui est maintenant en partie le salon de thé. Le jardin contient une large variété d’arbres, fleurs et plantes du monde entier mais ce qui le rend fameux est sa magnifique collection de rhododendrons.  Du 1^erAvril au 31 Mai tous les rhododendrons sont en fleurs et le jardin se remplit d’une multitude de couleur.
