If you are looking for some inspiration of places to visit and things to do in the Lake District national park and in Cumbria, you are on the right page. Cumbria is home to a multitude of castles, manors, and gardens to visit. Some are managed by the National Trust, others by English Heritage or are private. There are as well plenty of museums to visit during rainy days. And of course a great choice of outdoors and indoors activities to do in family.
