A nice little walk to discover the lovely countryside around Bollington village in the Peak District National Park in England.

Une jolie petite randonnée pour découvrir la beauté de la campagne anglaise autour du village de Bollington dans le parc national du Peak District en Angleterre.

This hike leaves from the center of the village of Bollington, which is a charming little village on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The path passes through the fields and offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We did the hike in mid-April and were lucky enough to see lamb babies who had just been born.

Cette randonnée part du centre du village de Bollington, qui est un charmant petit village en bordure du parc national de Peak District. Le chemin passe à travers les champs et offre de belles vues sur la campagne environnante. Nous avons fait la randonnée mi-avril et avons ainsi eu la chance de voir des bébés agneaux qui venaient de naître.

Here are the steps to do this hike:

Voici les étapes pour réaliser cette randonnée:

• Start from Ingersley Vale Street towards the exit of the village. Follow this road until you pass an old building. Then take the path on the left which goes towards the fields (pass the gate);
• Continue straight through the fields, you must pass a farm on your left after a while. Continue on this path until you arrive on a stony road. Take right onto the path and continue for a while;
• On your left you will see stone walls perpendicular to the path on which you are. After passing the third wall take left at the gate across the fields again. Continue until you reach a farm;
• Arrived at the farm, cross it by the courtyard and take left on the road;
• Follow this  concreted road for a moment, you will pass in front of many farms. Arrived at a junction turn right. And continue until another junction (you will have passed a farm on your left);
• Arrived at the junction take left, then right and direct right towards a path through fields. Continue straight through the fields until reaching a river. Cross the river and the property and take the path that starts from the property;
• From this path you will have a beautiful view of the village of Bollington. Continue for a while until arriving in front of a farm. Take the path on the left which bypasses the farm by the bottom left;
• Continue for a good time through the fields until you arrive at another farm that you have to cross to join a concrete road. At the road turn left. Continue on the same road until you reach the village of Bollington.
