
The Yorkshire Dales National Park is situated north of Manchester in England. It is spread out on three counties: North Yorkshire, Cumbria and Lancashire. It has a total area of 2,178 km2 and includes the Howgill Fells and Orton Fells. It does not include the area of Nidderdale situated in the east and south of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Nidderdale is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
